Nature`s Peace - Celebrating the Landscapes of the Watershed

Marking both the Year of Natural Scotland this year, and The John Muir centenary in 2014 are the key aims in producing this full colour hardback coffee-table volume. The book will take the reader on an inspiring imagined journey from the the border with England to Unst in Shetland, by way of Duncansby Head. The wonderful collection of photographs which are being so generously provided by a team of well over thirty tallented people, will  show the landscapes in an immensly appealing and evocative light. Nature`s Peace will be a geographic `first`, and will represent a landmark in the way we see, the ways we can appreciate the landform of Scotland.

Publication by Luath Press is due in September, and in addition to this great imagined Scottish journey, it will provide a first glimpse into the long-term vision which the author has, for the great Watershed of Scotland. Not short on ambition, he will suggest that there is a special opportunity here, to see and save these landscapes for the future - for people`s enjoyement and appreciation. Nature`s Peace will invite involvement in the Watershed, for our health and well-being and for our physical engagement with all that Nature has bestowed.
